December 19, 2007 CVS to market Intercure hypertension device

Intercure Ltd., Challenge Fund II Portfolio Company, has signed an agreement with US national pharmacy chain CVS Caremark Corporation for the distribution of the company's RESPeRATE non-invasive non-drug device for the treatment of hypertension on the basis of biofeedback principles. Intercure did not disclose any financial aspects of the agreement.

CVS will initially market the device at 40 pharmacies in Arizona, California, and North California, where it tests new products. If successful, CVS will market the decide at its 6,000 pharmacies nationwide.

Intercure is also in negotiations with a UK pharmacy chain, with more than 1,000 pharmacies nationwide, for the distribution of the RESPeRAE device.
